The Lexus V8 team
From the first enquiry to the work on the bench.
Founder
Tim Symons
Tim’s background combines mechanical engineering, prototype machinery and product development. At Tower Technologies, based at South Africa’s Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), he led the mechanical-engineering work needed to support chemical-engineering research with practical machinery. The projects included affordable housing made using industrial waste streams.
He later chose a more independent, hands-on direction. Today, he brings that product-development and problem-solving background to Toyota and Lexus V8 standalone wiring and OEM ECU systems.

Sally Symons
Sally’s background is in Cape Town’s hospitality industry. She managed Atlantic House, a boutique guesthouse in Camps Bay, where her responsibilities included reservations, guest service, staff supervision and the day-to-day running of the property.
She brings that hospitality experience and attention to detail to her administration role at Lexus V8.
